The MAPS SpamCatcher program aggregates spam sent to us by Alliance for Spam Free NetworksSM (ASFNSM) members participating in the program. The purpose of this program is to work in collaboration with ISPs and Enterprises to capture the broadest and most diverse sample of spam data possible. With 80% of the Internet's bandwidth being consumed by spam, MAPS makes it easy for Enterprises and ISPs alike to send us their spam.
The SpamCatcher program is free and any ISP or Enterprise can join the SpamCatcher program. All ISPs or Enterprises that use a filtering technology have an easy way to capture and send their spam to MAPS via the SpamCatcher program. Once you have completed the application form, you will receive instructions that guide you through an easy to set-up redirection of your filtered spam to MAPS. A benefit of participating in this program is that you are eligible to become a member of the ASFN. One of the many member benefits is free access to reports generated by our SpamReporter program.
SpamReporter
The MAPS SpamReporter program is available free to members of the ASFN. SpamReporter provides daily updates on the amount and type of the Spam collected from all members of the ASFN through the SpamCatcher program.
